CinéVault

CinéVault is a video library where filmmakers seeking collaboration can submit their films, whether they're in the final version or at the rough cut stage.

Ideally, films that are seeking gap financing/world sales/distribution partners/participation in film festivals can apply for this section. These films are viewed on individual computer terminals in private booths via the CinéVault software. CinéVault offers restricted access to film programmers, distributors, world sales agents and investors who can watch complete films and access contact details of the films and their representatives in the market.

CinéVault screenings do not constitute an official selection/ screening. It is a platform to show your film to prospective partners.

No mobile phones or recording devices are permitted in this section.

CinéVault Curations

There will be two curated sub-sections of films in various formats from the CinéVault library that will be showcased by CinéV-CHD. Each of these sub-sections have their separate rules and guidelines :

InTheWorks will curate up to ten long format films at rough cut stage for mentoring by experienced Indian and International mentors to help the film to achieve its potential.

CinévSpotlight highlights a selection of long format content of 71 minutes and more that are curated by Cinevesture as films that highlight contemporary styles of filmmaking. 

Participation in this platform is confirmed on receipt of completed application submission and payment, and is not on a merit basis. CinéV-CHD reserves the right to curate, from amongst the submitted films to CinéVault, content  for purposes of highlighting contemporary styles of filmmaking, under a subsection titled InTheWorks.

Films of any length, stage and genre are eligible. The focus of CinéV-CHD is on Indian and Asian content. However, applicants can be from anywhere in the world. 

The application fee varies based on the film's duration. Please refer to the Fees section for more details.

2. Your applicable fee is non-refundable, even if you choose to withdraw your project post submission of application.

1. Your film submission is to be done in two formats - 

         a. Film File to be uploaded for viewing in CinéVault. 

         b. A password protected, watermarked link to your film for preview for CinéV-Spotlight and InTheWorks Lab curations. 

2. Following a successful upload of your film file for CinéVault, you will receive an email confirming successful upload of your film. 

3. Please make sure that the subtitles lie above the safe margins so that they do not miss the viewer’s eye because of different screen ratios.
