An ex-Mckinsey consultant turned creative entrepreneur, film producer and a recipient of Forbes Asia 30 Under 30, Anshulika launched India’s first crowdfunding platform for creative artists called Wishberry. She then went on to produce 7 regional Indian films by raising angel investment for films.

Her debut film Aamis directed by Bhaskar Hazarika premiered at the Tribeca in 2019 and then Once Upon a Time in Calcutta directed by Aditya Vikram Sengupta premiered at Venice Orrizonti in 2020. She has also produced Mandela, directed by Madonne Ashwin, which won a National Award and was also among India's Oscar shortlist. Her films have traveled to prestigious international festivals like Venice, Tribeca, El Gouna, Calgary, Giffoni and many international Indian and South Asian Film Festivals and can be watched on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Mubi and Sony Liv. Besides producing films, her company ‘Independent Spirit Media’ runs many skill development programmes for emerging writers, directors and producers in India. She is also the Executive Director of The Writers INK Institute
