I'm Kandaswamy Bharathan, currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at the TOP B schools in India. I offer a unique course called 'Contemporary Film Industry - a Business Perspective,' the first of its kind in India that I designed and delivered since 2009.

I am also the Joint Managing Director at Kavithalayaa, a prestigious film and Television production house in Chennai. It was started by the legendary K. Balachander, a Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee with a legacy of over 100 films in four indian languages.

My 30+ years of experience at Kavithalayaa has been instrumental in shaping this course. Working at such a renowned production house has given me invaluable insights into the practical aspects of film production and the intricacies of the industry. It has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of both the creative and business sides of cinema, which I now share with my students.
